March 19th-27th the Buckeyes returned to Lake Lure, North Carolina for their annual spring training. Buckeye Rowing Alumni Association hosted their annual winter formal at Gordon Biersch. Coaches, rowers and alumni all dressed up and enjoyed great food, while catching up with old friends.

Ohio State Crew hosted the Midwest Erg Sprint Championships at Tom Davis Gym (the RPAC) on Saturday February 27th. Over 270 athletes competed in high school, open, masters and coxswain events, 43 of whom were Ohio State rowers.  The Open Men’s and Women’s 2k were won by the Buckeyes own Ian Dunn (6:19.7), and Ellen Manovich (7:09.2), respectively.
