Award Recipients
Every year, OSU Crew hosts a Blade Ceremony at the end of Spring Season to celebrate the team’s accomplishments and acknowledge athletes for their hard work. Here are the awarded athletes for the 2022-2023 rowing season.
Oarsman/Oarswoman of the Year
Presented to the man and woman who are the most highly skilled performers on the water. These award recipients set the bar high and are examples of what to work towards.
Coaches Cup Award
Presented to the club member who epitomizes the dedication and spirit of oarsmanship. The recipient consistently goes above and beyond his/her responsibilities as a team member and strives to improve OSU Crew.
Novice of the Year
Presented to the man and woman who displayed work ethic, drive, and integrity of character that is most highly regarded in novice rowing.
Scarlet and Gray Award
Presented to the man and woman who define the values and purpose of the OSU Crew Club. These award recipients always have the heart and soul of their team in wind and inspire others merely by their actions.
Most Improved Award
Presented to the athlete who made consistent strides towards athletic improvement.
