HIRE SOME ATHLETIC ROWERS TO DO IT FOR YOU!
The Rent-A-Rower (RAR) program has been an integral part of the Ohio State University Crew Club since its inception in 1978. To this date, it remains the team’s main fundraiser and provides valuable funds that allow us to purchase new equipment, pay for coaching, and travel for races. Rowers are available to help you with things such as:
Raking
Mulching
Cleaning out garages
Gardening
Painting
Moving furniture
The Rent-A-Rower program is a business operated and maintained by members of the OSU Crew Club. As such, orders requested with too short notice may not be processed in time, so please be sure to order your Rent-A-Rower at least 1 week in advance. Additionally, due to safety concerns, there are a few activities that rowers are not allowed to perform, such as climbing ladders, operating some power tools, or anything that involves an open flame. If you have any questions about what your Rower can or cannot do, contact our RAR Director, Draeden Rowe, at osucrewrar@gmail.com. The cost of our services is $20 per rower per hour with two to four hours of work and at least two rowers at each service site.
